The Monthly Round-Up is where I share an overview of the past month and highlight any projects, happenings, art life, and life in general that I think will be of interest. I enjoy and share the season, weather, and cultural changes of each month. At the end I’ll share with you what’s coming up in the new month.
Happy 1 year Anniversary!
My first Substack Post was on March 29, 2024. I’m usually a pretty private person, as well as an introvert. It was hard to bare it all as I did in that first article. I felt I had to do it, to lay it all out there so I could do what I wanted on this platform. The vision for this Substack publication is to blog, document, discuss, build community, and just share the journey of going for it and becoming the full-time Artist I was meant to be. It has been my life-long goal/dream since child-hood.
Here’s a re-visit to my very first posted article from a year ago, on March 29, 2024.
Then this past February, as my one year on Substack was getting close, I decided to work on my new business model and evaluate what was working, what wasn’t, and where I could make some adjustments. I posted an article on Substack in February on the determinations I had come to and where some tweaking could be made moving forward.
Here’s a re-visit of that article from February 17, 2025.
I published some articles in March on Substack, if you missed them or would like to revisit them:
I’ll be posting more on the watercolor and colored pencil pieces soon. Stay tuned!
I published some videos on YouTube. Many are long-form and shorts of the aforementioned watercolor and colored pencil series and will be sent in a separate article. I’m linking the folder from YouTube containing them all, so you can check some of them out.
