The Monthly Round-Up is where I share an overview of the past month and highlight any projects, happenings, art life, and life in general that I think will be of interest. I enjoy and share the season, weather, and cultural changes of each month. At the end I’ll share with you what’s coming up in the new month.
Here we are ending our second month of the year. On a cheery note, Spring Equinox is in a matter of weeks and I’m here for it! As family obligations are starting to ease a bit, I look forward to churning out creativity in all aspects such as art-making, art videos, and art writing and sharing. I’m taking part in a few classes, workshops, and challenges with fellow artists and creatives. I also hope to have time to finish the revamping of my website and put the finishing touches on my new art-studio design. In short, I have a lot coming down the pike!
I’m coming up on my one year anniversary on Substack in March. This is also true of my professional Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook pages. I don’t know why, but the first year seems like a big one. I thank all of you for being a part of this first year. Your support and encouragement mean a lot to me.
I posted some Articles on Substack in February, in case you missed them or would like to revisit.
I posted a few videos on YouTube, in case you missed them you can check them out.

I put out several blog posts in February on painting and drawing. These are filled with tips and stories as I swatch them to show you what they look or I make a piece using a specific medium and/or brand. They can be tutorials as we paint and draw together, or just something to sit back and relax as we go. I’ve linked them below.
